2020-01-21 - The expungement of juvenile law enforcement records in Illinois is governed by Part 9 of Article V of the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 (705 ILCS 405 /5-915). Only records maintained by the Oswego Police Department are covered by this notice.

Citizens Police Academy Signup is Now Open
2020-01-05 - The Oswego Police Department is announcing sign up for its next Citizen's Police Academy that will now begin on Wednesday February 05, 2020. Classes will be held on Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm until approximately 8:30pm and will run for 13 weeks in the Community Room at the Oswego Police Headquarters. Class size will have a minimum of 12 participants, with a maximum of 20. Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age, reside in, own property, or operate a business within the Village.

Oswego Police Partner with Neighbors by Ring App
2019.10.25 - The Oswego Police Department is announcing that it is joining the Neighbors by Ring app. The Neighbors app is a free way for residents to receive real-time local crime and safety information while also aiding local law enforcement in criminal investigations. Ring has said the Neighbors network already has millions of users nationwide and has been instrumental in catching package thieves, stopping burglaries and keeping neighborhoods safe.
