Explorer Post

The Oswego Police Department has had their own Explorer’s Post in place for approximately three years now. If you are interested in joining, please download the Law Enforcement Exploring packet or contact Officer Kelly Garcia at 630-551-7363. Our meetings are the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. held in the Oswego Law Enforcement Center Community Room. If you are interested in becoming an Explorer, please download and complete both of the applications. Both applications will need to be completed. There is also a small annual fee associated with the program. Once the applications are complete, they can be mailed to:

What is Exploring?

Law Enforcement Exploring allows young adults to experience Law Enforcement with hands-on involvement. Its purpose is to provide experiences to help young adults mature and to prepare them to become responsible adults. Law Enforcement Exploring is a career education program for anyone between the ages of 14 (who have graduated 8th grade) to 20.

If you have questions, please contact Officer Kelly Garcia at 630-551-7363.
