The Oswego Police Department currently has one State Certified Crash Reconstruction Specialist who can perform in-depth analysis of serious and fatal motor vehicle crashes using a variety of sophisticated equipment. To receive this certificate, this officer was trained in the many aspects of this specialized science. The officer was educated in various mathematical disciplines, auto mechanics, kinetics, motion, and physics and has a general knowledge of the applicable laws that permit law enforcement to conduct such investigations.

- 276 (37%) Crashes were driver's 15-24 years old
- 99 (13%) Crashes were driver's 25-34 years old
