Police Officers must maintain a high level of training. This is especially true for K-9 units. Officer Wicyk and K-9 Ben train monthly and dedicate numerous hours to training with surrounding canine units. In addition, Officer Wicyk and K-9 Ben are members of NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association). The team certifies through NAPWDA every year in narcotics detection and patrol work.
