New Number to Call for Overnight Parking Exemption

Beginning on February 1, 2010 there is a new phone number to call to request a temporary overnight parking exemption to park on a Village of Oswego street between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am. No changes to previously exempted areas of town have been made; this is just a change in the phone number to call for your request. Beginning February 1, 2010 please call the Oswego Police Department at 630-551-7300, you will be connected to the front desk at the police department and the Clerk/Receptionist will take all the same information as you previously provided when you called the KenCom dispatch center.
When you request your temporary overnight parking exemption please remember to have the date(s) of your requested exemption, the vehicle information (make, model, color, and license plate), as well as the address of the home in which the driver/owner of the vehicle will be at along with a contact phone number for that person or residence. All previously established guidelines for this ordinance will remain the same, including the established “exempt holiday times” as listed:
Memorial Day weekend, Friday – Tuesday
Labor Day weekend, Friday – Tuesday
Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday – Monday
December 22 – January 2, of the following year
