Wolf Crossing Resurfacing

The Oswego Police Department would like to inform the public that starting Monday July 23rd through August 6th, 2012 Wolf Crossing Road will be undergoing a resurfacing project from Route 30 to Route 34/71. This project will include grinding of the existing top layer, overlaying a new surface and lane stripping. While no lane closures will occur, significant delays should be expected. Hours of operation will be 7:00A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Alternate routes are as follows:
East Bound Wolf Crossing
• Route 34 to Eastbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road • Woolley Road to Northbound Stewart Road to Eastbound Rance Road (111th) to Westbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road • Plainfield Road to Eastbound Simons (127th) to Westbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road
Westbound Wolf Crossing
• Route 30 to Westbound Route 34 back to Wolf Crossing Road • Eastbound Route 30 to Westbound 111th (Rance Rd.) to Southbound Stewart to Westbound Woolley Road. • Eastbound Route 30 to Westbound 127th (Simons) to Northbound Plainfield Road
Southbound or Northbound Roads that intersect with Wolf Crossing
• Douglas Rd from Route 34 should go Eastbound Route 34 to Eastbound Route 30 • Douglas Rd from south of Wolf Crossing should go Woolley to Northbound Stewart to Eastbound Rance (111th) to Westbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road • 5th Street from Route 34 should go Eastbound Route 34 to Eastbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road • Roth Road from Wolf Crossing Road should go Woolley Road to Northbound Stewart Rd to Eastbound Rance Road (111th) to Westbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road • Harvey Road from Route 30 should use Eastbound Route 30 to Wolf Crossing Road • Harvey Road south of Wolf Crossing Road should go Eastbound Rance Road (111th) to Westbound Route 30 back to Wolf Crossing Road
If you live in the Southbury Subdivision it is recommended you take the Woolley Road detour. If you live in Churchill Subdivision it is recommended you take Douglas or 5th Street to the Route 34 detour. If you live in the Prescott Mill Subdivision it is recommended that you take Harvey Road north to Route 30 detour.
Oswego Police are asking for your patience while this project takes place. Alert and courteous drivers will provide safety for the workers as well as the other traveling motorists. As a reminder Wolf Crossing Road has a 20,000 pound gross vehicle weight rating limit as well.
