The Oswego Police Department is pleased to announce the recent graduation of Sergeant Jason Bastin from the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University.
2015.05.18 - The School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC) is an intensive ten-week program designed to prepare today's progressive law enforcement supervisors for senior command positions by uniquely combining academic principles with practical applications. Since the program launched in 1983, the SPSC has received enthusiastic response from executives and participants throughout the country.

Re: Oswego Soccer Festival 2015
2015.05.15 - The Village of Oswego Police Department is reminding the public to expect increased traffic congestion and delays in Oswego Friday May 22nd, Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th due to the Oswego Soccer Festival. The games will be held at Prairiefest Park on the south side of Oswego High School. Motorists should expect delays in particular while traveling on Route 71, between Route 34 and Forest Avenue. Delays will also occur on Washington Street/Plainfield Road and Grove roads near this event.

Please join the Special Olympics Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run as they run the Special Olympics Flame of Hope thru Kendall County.
2015.05.14 - We are inviting Special Olympics athletes, their families as well as community members to join police officers from Kendall County as they run Leg 22 of the Law Enforcement Torch thru Oswego on Wednesday, June 10th. You are welcome to run, jog, or bike the 2.3 mile run as long as you maintain a 10 minute mile. The run will take place along Oswego streets within a police motorcade. The run starts at the Oswego Park-N-Ride at Mill & Station Rd. and ends at Hudson Crossing Park in Oswego.

2015 Junior Police Academy
2015.05.12 - The Oswego Police Department will be hosting two sessions of the Junior Police Academy this summer. The first session is from June 8th to June 12th. The second session is from June 29th to July 3rd.
