Phone Scam Alert
2010.08.23 - Oswego Police report that several area businesses and residents have recently received phone calls from a group identifying itself as the Illinois Association of Disabled and Retired Firefighters. Those called have been asked to pay for advertisement space in a brochure which is to be distributed in the local area.

Back To School Route 71 Delays
2010.08.16 - Due to the continued construction along Route 71 in front of the Oswego High School and the new school year quickly approaching, the Oswego Police Department wants to remind motorists utilizing this roadway to expect travel delays.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle WARNING
2010.07.30 - Over the past month there has been a significant increase in the number of Burglary to Motor Vehicle reports taken in the Village. Several unlocked vehicles in our subdivisions have been victimized.

4th of July Traffic Plans
2010.06.14 - The Oswego Police Department will again limit parking and travel routes prior to and immediately following the annual 4th of July fireworks event.
