Sign up for "Trivia Knight" to support Special Olympics Illinois
2014.09.26 - The Oswego Police Department, members of Special Olympics Illinois, and the Columbus Club of Oswego are sponsoring a "Trivia Knight" to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Oswego Columbus Hall at 197 East Washington Street. The doors open at 6:00pm, silent auction will begin at 6:30pm, and the trivia will begin at 7:00pm. Those interested in taking part in the event are asked to create teams of eight people who will answer trivia questions in categories such as sports, television, movies, news, etc. There is only room for 15 teams. A team entry fee of $200 is required and entries are now being accepted.

Allied First Bank Triathlon Road Closures
2014.07.08 - The Oswego Police Department would like to inform the public that on Sunday July 20th 2014 from 6:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Illinois Route 71 will be closed from Orchard/Minkler Roads to Plainfield/Washington Street. The closure is for Allied First Bank’s Triathlon that will take place on this date. Detour routes have been established for motorists wishing to pass through.
Accreditation Assessment Team Invites Public Comment
2014.06.25 - A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will arrive on Sunday, August 3, 2014, to examine all aspects of the Oswego Police Department's policies and procedures, field operations, criminal investigations and support services.
