Allied First Bank Triathlon Road Closures
2014.07.08 - The Oswego Police Department would like to inform the public that on Sunday July 20th 2014 from 6:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Illinois Route 71 will be closed from Orchard/Minkler Roads to Plainfield/Washington Street. The closure is for Allied First Bank’s Triathlon that will take place on this date. Detour routes have been established for motorists wishing to pass through.
Accreditation Assessment Team Invites Public Comment
2014.06.25 - A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will arrive on Sunday, August 3, 2014, to examine all aspects of the Oswego Police Department's policies and procedures, field operations, criminal investigations and support services.
Prairie Fest 2014
2014.06.02 - The Village of Oswego Police Department is reminding the public to expect increased traffic congestion and delays in Oswego beginning Thursday June 12th through Sunday June 15th due do Prairie Fest activities. Motorists should expect delays in particular while traveling on Illinois Route 71 between Washington Street and US Route 34, on Plainfield Road between Illinois Route 71 and Woolley Road and on Madison, Washington, and Main Streets in the Downtown Oswego area.
Quilt Festival 2014
2014.06.02 - The Village of Oswego Police Department is reminding the public to expect increased traffic congestion and delays in Oswego Saturday June 7th from 10:00a.m to 4p.m due to Quilt Festival activities. Motorists should expect delays in particular while traveling on US Route 34 through the downtown area. Delays on Madison, Washington and Main Street in the Downtown Oswego area are expected. Main Street will be closed between Washington and Jackson Streets. Street closures will begin Saturday June 7th at 6a.m. and will continue until 6p.m.
